During the day, he walks unnoticed through the crowded streets, just another shadow amongst many. Absorbing the light, whether from the sun or electrical sources, that will charge up the costume of his secret identity. So that at night this superhero glows with a brillance, as he stands surrounded by the horror that exists within the darkness of the mind, ready to fight with the rays of light. But every night, his aura lasts only so long, and he must flee to a strong light source, so that he may continue to shine on. Or the horror will feed upon him, like those he tries to save, lost in a nightmare. And when the sun rises and the dreams end, he goes back to being just a face in the crowd, waiting for the night to come again. He is the Spidereye
